Italian paintings
Several lifetimes would be needed to experience fully the pleasures of the Italian landscape. I’ve been gradually discovering the cities and regions of Lazio, Sicily, Sardinia, Puglia, the Marches, Piedmont and the Val d’Aosta, Liguria, Tuscany, and the Dolomites, with still a long way to go. So I’m one in an endless line of not so Grand Tour travellers.
